Donald Williams II, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army, is an accomplished leader who has served in many distinguished leadership roles.  He is a product of a military family who traveled extensively as a family member and adult.  Donald, a first-time author, shares inspirational stories, practical applications, and advice to engage the next generation of Game Changers. He is tenaciously motivated and on the go; his service dedication knows no boundaries The clarion call to action is clear ­– Become a Mentor and Save Lives.  There is no better investment than our young people. As Executive Director of Unity Christian Fellowship, Inc. (UCF) for more than 18 years, he and his wife co-founded and have focused explicitly on African-American and minority students of color.  UCF is a nonprofit, community-based youth development organization that promotes student success and "changes lives in the community one student at a time amongst at-promise youth."  UCF's positive youth development program centers on creating transformative experiences to inspire middle and high-school-age young people, especially our young males, to become future leaders.  UCF programs are structured to empower students to be accountable, improve their academic performance, and develop leadership skills in reaching new heights of success.   

His goal is to inspire others to become mentors.  As leaders, mentors, administrators, educators, and coaches in the post-pandemic world, we must demonstrate that we genuinely care about students recovering from learning loss and providing social-emotional support that encourages them to succeed in life!  

The clarion call to action is clear ­– Become a Mentor and Save Lives!  All "You only need a heart to serve, mentor, uplift, and nurture our children.  Our communities are in crisis and can no longer remain silent!  If ever there was a time to work together, it is now to help make hope happen in our vulnerable communities across the Nation.
